The Stuart K. Patrick Grant for Transplant Innovation at the University of Pittsburgh provides funding to faculty at the University of Pittsburgh who have innovative new research ideas in the field of transplantation.

Clinical and basic science proposals are welcome.  The goal of the grant is to provide short-term (1 to 2 years) support for the development of a highly innovative, potentially transformational line of research that will result in a high impact paper, patent application, or grant submission.

The grant will be for a total of $100,000 for up to two years and is not renewable.

The application deadline is January 15, 2024 with a start date of July 1, 2024.
