The Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute, through its research cores and resources, supports multidisciplinary research in transplantation immunology, surgery, and related disciplines and promotes the educational and professional development of research faculty, staff, and trainees.

The STI is moving the Animal Facility calendar and any communication related to animal facility usage to Microsoft Teams. To join the “STI- Animal Facilities” team, the user will have to sign in using his pitt email and password to Microsoft teams then join the “STI- Animal Facilities” team by using this Team code “d4qz04j”. After joining, the user will request access to the calendars in the “General” channel by replying to the post entitled “Access to Calendars”. In 24 hours, access will be provided to the user. Once access is given, a list of channels pertaining to each animal facility room/equipment will appear. Click on the room/equipment that you want to book and then click on the Calendar Pro tab to access the calendar and then book the time.

Also, in the “General” channel, please post anything related to animal facility usage. Users can then reply to the post. We want to encourage open communication between users so that issues get resolved quickly and in a collegial manner.

By 04/15/2024, all calendar reservations must be transferred from the Google Calendar to the Teams Calendar Pro by the individual who placed the reservations and any reservations made on or after 04/15/2024 must be made on Teams Calendar Pro. Failure to transfer your reservation(s) to the new calendar may result in you losing the reservation.
