Dr. Abou-Daya’s lab focuses on investigating mechanisms of immunological memory and their role in graft rejection. The lab utilizes state-of-the-art immunogenomics and bioinformatics tools in its effort to uncover molecular and cellular mechanisms of immunological memory in various immune subsets. They are also building a single cell transcriptomic database containing all publicly available and in-house generated scRNAseq datasets relevant to transplantation. This will serve as a discovery platform for transplant scientists working on finding new targets for the treatment of organ rejection.
